Office Block Complete Renovation

What started out as a small “tea room renovation” for the Groote Schuur Hospital’s Department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, ended in a full-blown office block renovation for Prof Swanevelder and his amazing team.

The Brief was simple: convert the existing dated, dark & dysfunctional space into a fresh, modern & functional office space that will help to lift the medical staff’s morale through these trying pandemic times.

After client approved the proposed plans, 3D designs, color palette and finishes, furniture & fabric samples, we stripped the existing space down to a shell and started building up the required areas for this amazing office renovation.

The areas we created included:

• Offices with desktops, connectivity, blinds & furniture.
• Open plan cubicles with desktops, connectivity and furniture.
• Lounge area with wall paper, custom made furniture, blinds, pots & plants.
• Replaced the existing floors with durable and modern SPC flooring.
• Boardroom area with custom made connectivity ready Blackwood boardroom table, furniture and wall-mounted TV.
• Built-in Kitchen with top-end appliances and a coffee coffee counter with furniture.
• Sound proof studio with custom made furniture and an iconic image wallpaper background for virtual meetings & training.
• Big frameless Perspex iconic photos on the walls, the images were sourced from various local photographers.
• Completely renovated His & Hers bathrooms with new toilets, tiles, vanities, mirrors and sanitary ware.

The results speaks for itself and our amazing clients were over the moon with the final product.
